Things people usually ask
Do you come to my home, office or gym?
Yes, any of the three. I need a room with some clear floor and a surface the table can stand on, and that's about it.
What do I need to set up?
Nothing, really. I bring the table. Clear a patch of floor about the size of a bed, and let me know about stairs or parking when you book so I can plan the carry.
What happens at the first visit?
We talk first about what brought you in, then I check how you move and where things are tight. You hear what I'm finding before I adjust anything and I explain each adjustment as we go, and before I leave you get a short plan for the days in between.
How long is a visit?
A first visit takes 45 to 60 minutes and a follow-up about 30. The booked length of each visit type is on the price list.
What does a visit cost?
A first visit is $225 and a follow-up is $150. Prenatal and pediatric visits are priced separately, from $125, and the Services, Prenatal and Pediatric pages list every price.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours ahead, or a $75 cancellation fee applies.
How far will you travel?
Within 15 miles of central Denver; a travel fee applies beyond that. Give me your address when you call or book and I'll tell you whether it's in range.
Does it hurt?
It shouldn't. I adjust by hand and I'm not interested in forcing anything, so if something feels off, say so and I'll change what I'm doing.
How many visits will I need?
That depends on you. After the first visit I'll tell you what I found and what I'd suggest, and you decide from there. If I don't think I'm helping, I'll say so and send you to someone who can.
Do you take insurance?
No, I don't bill insurance. Visits are self-pay, and the price list is on the Services page.
Should I see a doctor first?
When you book, let me know if you've had a serious injury recently, any new numbness or weakness, a fever along with back pain, a history of cancer or osteoporosis, or if you take blood thinners. Depending on the answer I may ask you to see your medical doctor first.
Can I add personal training?
Yes. I train clients, so we can spend part of a visit on movement. Ask me for a quote when you call.
Do you see pregnant patients or children?
Yes, at home. Visits are gentle and scaled to the person, and I work alongside your OB, midwife or pediatrician. The Prenatal and Pediatric pages explain what a visit looks like.
